The Problem With Certain Weight Loss Products

| 4 min read

There's no such thing as a miracle weight loss product. There are however, products that can help support your weight loss journey. But finding the right one's can be tricky...

According to the World Health Organization, obesity worldwide has nearly tripled since 1975 and because of this, the weight loss industry has boomed in profit by selling under-researched herbal and dietary weight loss supplements.

The problem with certain weight loss products

So what's the problem with certain weight loss products? Most products simply don't work, haven't been proven effective or safe or either contain man made ingredients which we believe can be bad for your health.

At the moment, the issue stands with companies promising individuals that their product alone will help them lose weight by using synthetic ingredients that haven't been heavily researched or worse, approved.

So what makes us different?

Here at Primal Living, we only believe in, and work with, research-supported ingredients that help support your health. We also do not promote our products to be a miracle weight loss solution, but rather a product that will help support your weight loss journey. It's one of the reasons why Primal Living was born: to help educate the nation about the incorrect information that so many of us have been brainwashed into believing by the clever, yet cruel advertising from the industry.

With every new product we release, we do so in the hope it can help hundreds, if not just one single person, live healthier and happier while adding years onto their life.

As George Orwell once said, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act”.

Primal Living's weight loss products

When I first started writing my book, Fat & Furious, I researched deeply into natural ingredients that can help aid weight loss, particularly fibre.

What is fibre? It’s the rough guys who hang around with macronutrients. They can either be absorbed in water (soluble) or not (insoluble). Fibre is great at making us feel full without taking on lots of calories. In fact, insoluble fibre tends to pass through the system without leaving any calories behind, and even soluble fibre is extremely light in calories.

For example, there are pastas, spaghetti and noodles that have been consumed in Japan for thousands of years that have zero calories and zero CARBS! How is that possible? Known as shirataki (meaning ‘white waterfall’) and made from glucomannan which is found in the root of the konjac plant, these transparent insoluble fibre noodles are edible, but not digestible. They absorb water so well that, while what is eaten might look identical to normal wheat noodles, they are actually made of 95% water temporarily suspended in fibre.

SlimShotz was one of our first products to launch and to this day, is our most popular weight loss product. Made with the very same ingredient as the noodles, glucommanan is the only ingredient recognised by the European Food Standards Agency to aid weight loss.

As for our other weight loss products, such as Thermogenic, it's supported by research to provide effective ingredients to help our body burn calories by producing heat. It also contains only natural ingredients, unlike most weight loss products on the market.

The weight loss product industry can be confusing, and at times very believable, but the most important thing to remember is that no single product will make you lose weight alone - that bit is up to you and how you treat your body, both my nutrition and movement.

My advice? Read my book, Fat & Furious, to help educate yourself on the industry and how we're brainwashed as a nation to fall for certain diets and then transform your lifestyle.

Once you transform your lifestyle for a much healthier one (with real foods & extra movement), you'll then be more educated on the products you choose to consume. And when it comes to weight loss, particularly weight loss products, opt for natural ingredients that help support your weight loss journey.
