What a fantastic book easy to read and understand and actually the information is life changing. This book should be a bible taught in schools from an early age!

This book is the Gem in the Gemporia crown! It should be compulsory reading for everyone and I would go as far as to say that it should be on every school curriculum. The content is serious but the writing style light and breezy, very readable and a real page turner. I am about two thirds of the way through the book at present and it has been so enlightening that, for the first time, I'm understanding why I've been struggling with my weight for about the last 25 years despite trying everything to get to grips with it. Things I thought were healthy choices, I have discovered, are not and I now feel I have a better understanding about, not only how to tackle weight loss, but how to try and avoid all of the major illnesses which, it would appear, are not an inevitability if the right diet choices are made. I always knew that sugar was bad for your general health and the heart, in particular, but now I understand the link between sugar and insulin resistance and the damage that can do to the heart and other organs too. The importance of your gut microbiome is also very interesting and I make sure I top up my microbiome with the supplements I bought a while back. I also knew that the food industry was responsible for many of the problems in the Western diet, but I didn't realise the extent to which this was the case and just how we are all being manipulated into making poor choices. It is a fascinating read and I can't thank Steve Bennett enough for undertaking this work which has clearly been a labour of love, above everything else. I have made many changes to my diet already and I am endeavouring to reduce any carbohydrates to a minimum; I start my day with the organic almond milk, peanut butter, organic cacao powder and banana drink and it certainly fills you up. I have been carrying out repairs and decoration to the exterior of my house over the last few weeks and since I have been taking this drink, I have worked till tea time without thinking about food on occasions. I have also been regularly taking the slimshots before eating, particularly if I have planned to eat any carbohydrates and I've completely substituted pasta for the fibrehydrate varieties. I bought them some time ago, and rarely touched them, but now I am taking a liking to them. I made a lovely pasta sauce and put a full pack of fibrehydrate in with the sauce and ate the lot one day and I couldn't eat anything else until the following evening as I felt so full. A word of caution, I would recommend that anyone buying organic peanut butter from Tescos should be aware that it contains so-called "organic" palm sugar which I didn't realise at first so now I buy the peanut butter from Aldi which isn't organic but does not contain palm sugar which I think must be the better of the two choices. I still feel like I'm overeating because I feel so full all the time, but my choices are healthy ones now so either that is due to the new diet that is filling me up or my portion control needs looking at. Time will tell. I would love to get back down to a healthy weight and I hope over time I'll achieve this with the help of the recipes contained at the end of the book. I've already promised to send a copy of this book to a friend who recently suffered a blockage to his heart and only discovered this following a pre-op medical for another condition, so I think he will benefit greatly from the advice in this book. Thank you once again for all the effort which has gone into making his book the great read that it is. Bravo!

Interesting book that I have read through and does make you question why like myself people were getting ill eating fast food items. Personally when I stopped eating take-aways I found I was feeling so much healthier so good on Steve Bennett for bringing this to all our attentions.

After trying this product for two days my digestion felt very unwell so i decided not to use any more of it. I have a very healthy diet and am very fit for my age. On purchasing it on line I did not realise it was made in China, I will not eat products brought in from China as I feel they are not safe to consume and also some of the product is out of date.

Fabulous book very informative, made me rethink my life style. You can dip in and out of chapters and learn as much or as little as you like. Great book for everyone. Most readers will gain vast amount of knowledge. Thank you Steve Bennett. C Southern
